Terms and conditions
Space
- The tables are 5ft long each. You can hire up to 2 tables.
- Please note chairs are not provided (please bring these with you if you wish to sit down).
- You are welcome to bring items to decorate / enhance your space (small tables / easels / material to cover the table / shelving).
- You may require additional lighting. Please make sure that any electrical items are safe – if you do bring any lighting you will require an extension lead.
- Artist collectives may require more than one table.
- The space is surrounded by floor to ceiling glass – you can use this space to hang work (there are hooks to hang pictures)/ stick work to the glass. Please bring blue-tac, string with you.
Transactions
- Any monies taken from each customer is your responsibility.
- It may be a good idea to bring a receipt book with you to record your sales (some customers may require a receipt).
- Any monetary disputes between you and the customer must be resolved by you.
- You may want to bring bags / wrapping materials for when you sell any items.
- You will need a float to give customers change
Selling your work
- Please note that you are not allowed to sell obscene or potentially offensive work. This is a family event open to the public and we do not wish to cause any offence to our visitors. Anyone doing so will be asked to remove their work from public view.
- No commission will be taken for any work you sell.
- It is up to you to price your work.
Hiring space
- The Sunday Flea is open from 11am – 4pm.
- Set up starts at 9am.
- If you wish to book a table you must first email kerry@fusedmagazine.com.
- You must pay for your table at least 7 days in advance of the date you have booked. Please send a cheque made payable to FUSED to: LTD Edition, Fused Magazine, 315 The Greenhouse, Gibb Street, Birmingham, B9 4AA.
- Tables cost £25 each – if you require a second table this will cost an additional £20.
- If you pay for a table and do not turn up you will NOT be entitled to a refund.
- Tables will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
Promotion of the event
- Fused Magazine and the Sunday Flea will produce flyers to promote the event. These will be distributed throughout Birmingham and beyond.
- Fused will advertise the event and do relevant PR.
